Ha Tien is the last land of Vietnam adjacent to Thailand Gulf, with a coastline about 22 km. Nowadays, when Highway 80 is built, the branch flowing to the sea is filled, the canal has only one branch interconnecting Dong Ho Lagoon.
5. Tam Bao Pagoda
Tam Bao pagoda, founded in 1730 by Mac Cuu, is located in the center of Ha Tien town. In the pagoda, there is a statue of Buddha and a bronze bell molded by Mac Cuu to remember his mother. Behind the pagoda is the grave of Mac Cuu’s mother. Surrounding the pagoda is the ancient wall with nearly 300 years built by the Mac family to prevent the enemy.
6. Giang Thanh River
Giang Thanh River originates from Cambodia, flows into Viet Nam in the direction of North - South, then flows into Dong Ho Lagoon, before reaching the Thailand Gulf. The place, where Giang Thanh River and the Vinh Te Canal meet, is called Giang Thanh T-junction.
7. Phao Dai Moutain
Phao Dai Mountain is a small mountain closing to the Gulf of Thailand. Around the mountain, there are quite many ancient flamboyant, with the red color like the color of fireworks when summer returns. There are some orchid flowers emitting a scent when night falls.
8. Binh San Moutain
Binh San Mountain, also called Lang Mountain, is a wonderful and peaceful landscape. Binh San Mountain is more than 50m high, always green all years. At the foot of Binh San Mountain, there is a semi-circular lotus pond containing freshwater to serve people's activities.
9. Thach Dong
Thach Dong is a huge green rock in the middle of a large land with the high of 80m. Standing in the middle of the mountain, tourists can see the panoramic view of Ha Tien town, the Cambodian villages along the border hidden under the foothills.
10. Da Dung Mountain
This is a limestone mountain with the high of 83m, which has many caves filled with many iridescent stalactites like turquoise or emerald. Da Dung Mountain is about 6km from the center of Ha Tien town. Visiting this historical monument, you will return to the origin of the nation and you can explore the mysterious beauty of the cave.
