TOUR ITINERARY:

At 6:30 AM, our local tour guide will pick you up atyour hotel and then head to Cai Rang floating market by a wooden boat. On the way to Cai Rang floating market, you will see beautiful sunrise reflecting on the river. It is interesting that you can see real local activities such as washing the clothes, catching fish, children swimming. Arriving in Can Tho floating market, you will know the history, cultural values,bustling trading scene and amazing people there. Don’t forget to enjoy “floating noodle soup”, a cup of Vietnamese milk coffee onboard and savor fresh pineapple on a pineapple boat.

After savoring rice noodle soup at the floating market, we will stop at a local traditional rice noodle factory to see how to make Hu Tieu - rice noodle step by step. Have fun when you try making noodles guided by the noodle expert! Enjoy a special crispy homemade “rice noodle pizza” that you cannot buy anywhere else.

9:00 AM Keep going to the unique cacao farm in Can Tho. First, you walk around to see different kinds of colorful cacao fruit. Then, you learn how to make chocolate step by step, from the fresh fruit to yummy dark chocolate. Sit back, relax and enjoy chocolate drink, dark chocolate made by Mr. Ca Cao – the ownerof the farm. It’s fantastic that you can savor cacao wine and hear the story of the cacao farm existing for more than 60 years.

At 11:00 AM, go to Mỹ Khánh Ecotourism - visitor can experience the old days of southerners’ life by taking on the costume of a rich landlord who lived in a big house or of a normal traditional farmer to feel the difference. As a rich landlord, you can enjoy fruit, hot tea and listen to music from a hand-operated gramophone made more than 300 years ago. 

Have lunch at the village, you are served with Mekong Delta specialties. The meals include regional fruits such as rambutans, durians, langsats, mangosteens, oranges, tangerines and pomeloes.

01:00 PM Head to Phung Hiep town, Hau Giang province, visit Lung Ngoc Hoang - the most beautiful landscape in Vietnam. Covering on an area of 2,800 hectares, the most unique protected area featuring green grassland, cajeput forest, and swamp in the southern Vietnam is home of more than 500 plant species, including 330 Vascular plants (also known as Tracheophyta) of 92 families; 234 snake species, 77 fish species, 206 species of terrestrial vertebrates. The nature reserve comprises small reserves, such as Lung Sen, Lung Lon, Lung Tran.

First, you walk to capture the edge of the Melaleuca forest and learn about the Melaleuca forest ecosystem.

You transfer by "motor boat" into the forest, the boat moves between rows of green water hyacinths - a place that recreates the unique water forest system of the Mekong Delta - watching the canal system intertwining with the lush green landscape of the tropical Melaleuca forest.

Climb on Birdwatching tower: Birdwatching or birding in Mekong Delta, Lung Ngoc Hoang forest is one of the most beautiful places for birding in the early morning and afternoon, in the dry and the wet season. Scientists estimate that it is home to over 76 species of waterfowls and birds like asian openbill (dull bill with gap between mandibles, dirty greyish-white plumage with black tail, lower scapulars and flight feathers), milky stork, indian cormorant (relatively small, short, stubby, mostly pale bill, short neck, all dark with whitish chin), yellow bittern, chinese pond-heron, white-breasted waterhen, grey-headed swamphen, short-toed coucal, collared kingfisher (blue upperside with variable turquoise wash, white collar and underparts, faint creamy-buffish wash on lower flanks, mostly dark bill) and the most endemic species of any country in southeast Asia.

4:30 PM: The tram will take you and the tour guide back to the tourist area gate

5:00 PM: Back to the hotel. We promise you are filled with memorable memories of Can Tho city tour.
