🗓️ DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 01: CAN THO - CU LAO DUNG

The bus picks up the group in the center of Can Tho city, departs for Cu Lao Dung - a peaceful island surrounded by rivers, canals and natural ecosystems typical of the West.

Arriving at Cu Lao Dung, you check in at a local homestay, rest and freely enjoy the peaceful garden space.

Afternoon: The group started the journey of discovery

• Visit the dragon fruit garden, learn how to grow and harvest dragon fruit. If the season is right, visitors can enjoy fresh dragon fruit right in the garden

• Visit the longan garden

• Visit the honey garden and enjoy the honey products of Uncle Sau Phuong

• Take a tour of traditional broom making. Meet local artisans, learn the story of the traditional craft, and if conditions allow, you can try your hand at making a part of the broom yourself

Evening: The group has dinner according to local cuisine, then experiences baking with the locals.

DAY 02: EXPLORE THE CORK FOREST AND KHMER CULTURE

Morning: You have breakfast at the homestay, then start your journey of discovery

🛶08:30 – 10:00 | EXPLORE THE CORK FOREST AND MONEKY ISLAND

Hop aboard a local canoe and embark on a journey through small canals amidst the green cork forest ecosystem.

🌿Understanding the riparian ecosystem

🐦Observe birds, fish, and natural animals

🐒 Explore Monkey Island and get a chance to observe monkeys if natural conditions are favorable

🛕10:00 – 11:15 | DISCOVER KHMER CULTURE - KOSTUNG PAGODA

Continue to Kostung Pagoda to learn about the characteristics of the Southern Khmer community.

Visitors will discover: 

• Khmer culture and life
• Southern Buddhism
• Khmer pagoda architecture
• Festivals and community activities
• The role of the temple in Khmer life

🍰 Experience traditional Khmer cakes

Visitors will enjoy traditional Khmer cakes and learn about the ingredients, processing and cultural stories behind the folk cakes.

🍽️ 11:30-13:00 | LOCAL LUNCH

Have lunch at a local homestay or family restaurant. Enjoy dishes with Western flavors, prepared from local ingredients and in a simple, intimate style. After eating, visitors have time to rest and enjoy the beauty of this place.

🌿13:00 – 14:45 | RELAX & INTERACT WITH THE PEOPLE

Take some time to relax, enjoy a drink, and chat with the locals. Instead of rushing from one attraction to another, this time allows you to slow down and feel the peaceful pace of life in the Mekong Delta.

🚐14:45 – 16:00 | RETURN TO CAN THO

Depart for Can Tho by private car

Relax and enjoy the scenery along the way

🚐16:00 – 16:30| DROP OFF AT YOUR HOTEL AND END OF THE TRIP

Return to your hotel or original meeting point in the center of Can Tho City. The tour guide says goodbye and the Western experience ends.
