With the tour series named Toward the South-West, we wishes to bring you impressive images of the generous, motherly Mekong Delta accompanied by its typical culture. Fertile alluvial from the rivers have been nurturing numerous fruitful farms year after year. The two main rivers of the delta named Tiền Giang and Hậu Giang (which mean Front River and Back River) have been supplying water for endless fresh fields spreading up to the skyline. The delta’s culture was born from and has been attached to rivers and farms, showing clearly in the busy atmosphere of the Cái Răng Floating Market or in many handicraft villages on the riversides. With their truthful, hospitable, and generous personalities, people in the South-West have embedded their own beautiful images in the hearts of tourists from every corner of the world.
Tour Details
DAY 1: HỒ CHÍ MINH CITY – CẦN THƠ CITY: COME TO THE WESTERN CAPITAL
Tour guide will pick you up at meeting places and head to Cần Thơ City, where you will have lunch.
The first destination in the Western Capital that we wish to introduce to you is the Mỹ Khánh Ecotourism Area. This area provides many folk games popular in South-West Vietnam, consisting of games for individuals such as climbing acreca, riding pedicabs, jumping in jute bags, etc. and games for groups such as wooden-shoe race, passing the Ô Thước Bridge, crocodile catching, pig race, etc. Lanes in the Mỹ Khánh Ecotourism Area are shaded by more than 20 types of fruit trees such as rose-apple, mango, rambutan, jack-fruit, baccauria, and durian.
Walking around the old village of Long Tuyền, Tourguide will introduce you the beauty of ancient architecture in Cần Thơ that has been reserved for hundreds of years such as the old house of Bình Thuỷ, the Bình Thuỷ Communal House, and Nam Nhã Temple. Having entered many works of literature, painting, cinema and music, the names of those places have been getting out of Cần Thơ City and spread all over the country.
DAY 2: CẦN THƠ CITY – PHÚ QUỐC: A TRIP ON THE EMERALD ISLAND
Cái Răng Floating Market is the first destination in the day, because floating markets are most typical for the river culture of people living in the Mekong Delta.
CKS Tourism will also introduce you to the farming life by taking you to the Ba Cống Fruit Farm, which is famous for various typical fruits of the South-West.
After lunch, you will go to the Cần Thơ Airport for a flight to Phú Quốc. A trip to visit Tranh Stream (Painting-like Stream), Sư Môn Temple, and Phú Quốc’s pepper farms will follow. You will enjoy tasty special fruits of the season.
You are free to enjoy the Phú Quốc Sea for the whole afternoon.
CKS Tourism can help you to join a cuttle-fishing tour in the evening if you wish so (the fee is not included in the tour)
DAY 3: PHÚ QUỐC: EXPLORATION OF THE LUSH ISLAND
You will visit oyster farms, the historical site Phú Quốc Prison, and An Thới Habour, where you will go fishing and dive into the sea for a coral tour. Later, you will enjoy a delicious meal of seafood that you have achieved from the fishing tour.
The next activity is a visit to Sao Beach (Star Beach), where you will enjoy the sea freely and play strong sea games (the fee is not included in the tour). You will also go for sight-seeing at workshops of fish-sauce and of wine made from tomentos rose myrtle. The last destination of the day is Dinh Cậu, which is a symbol for the fishing job in the island.
After a rest at the hotel and dinner, you are free to explore Phú Quốc by yourself.
DAY 4: PHÚ QUỐC – HỒ CHÍ MINH CITY: FAREWELL TO THE EMERALD ISLAND
Breakfast will be served, and you will have a short time at the beach before checking out and heading to the Phú Quốc Airport for the flight to Hồ Chí Minh City.
You will be taken to the Phú Quốc Airport, and our tour guide will see you off and wish to serve you again.

CHILD TICKET
- Child from 12 years old: an adult ticket
