🗓️ DETAILED ITINERARY

07h45: Our private car and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in central Can Tho City. Then, depart for Soc Trang.

09h00: Upon arrival in Soc Trang, visit:

• Tan Hue Vien - A popular destination featuring beautiful and photogenic attractions, including Hue Vien Dong, a Koi fish pond, decorative water fountains,...

• Kh'Leang Pagoda - one of the ancient Khmer pagodas in the Mekong Delta, dating back nearly 500 years. Together with Doi Pagoda (Bat Pagoda), Kh'Leang Pagoda is one of Soc Trang Province's two national - level heritage sites, recognized for it's architectural and artistic values. It is also one of the places where the traditional Moon Worship Ceremony takes place during the Oc Om Booc Festival.

11h30: Enjoy a delicious lunch featuring fresh local specialties, followed by some time to relax.

12h30: (November 4: The Dua Ghe Ngo Festival officially opens at 12:00) Continue to the main festival venue to experience the spectacular Soc Trang Dua Ghe Ngo Festival. Know as Tuk Ngo in Khmer, the Du Ghe is traditional used by local communities for boat racing during the Oc Om Booc Festival. The festival is held to express gratitude to the Moon and to pray for a prosperous year with good harvests and successful livestock farming.

Immerse yourself in the vibrant colorful atmosphere one of the largest traditional festivals in the Mekong Delta, deeply rooted in the cultural identity of the Southern Khmer community.

(This is an authentic local celebration rather than a commercialized event, giving visitors the opportunity to experience the festival along side local people and enjoy its lively, open and joyful atmosphere).

15h00: Depart Soc Trang and travel back to Can Tho City.

Estimated 16h30: Arrive at your hotel in central Can Tho. Our guide says goodbye and wishes you a pleasant onward journey. End of the 1-day Soc Trang Oc Om Booc Festival & Dua Ghe Ngo experience.
